This older Persian Tabriz carpet is an exceptional example of masterful craftsmanship from one of Persia’s most celebrated weaving centers, Tabriz, located in northwest Iran. The design features an elegant central medallion set against a warm ivory and golden field, surrounded by richly detailed floral motifs in shades of deep red, navy, olive, and soft blue. The intricate border, adorned with scrolling arabesques and stylized palmettes, adds harmony and refinement to the overall composition.
