An intricately decorated French Rococo-style mantel clock featuring two playful putti seated beneath a grapevine canopy. Its sculptural gold-tone case is richly ornamented with scrolling foliage, grape clusters, beaded borders and a dramatic central mask.

A white dial with blue Roman numerals and an outer minute scale provides a crisp contrast to the surrounding ornament. Pale inset panels soften the composition, while sweeping scroll feet complete its distinctive silhouette.
