New Persian Hand-Finished Silk Qum Carpet Deep Red with Blue & Ivory Accents

Description

A beautiful new Persian Silk Qum carpet, hand-finished with a rich ruby-red field and finely detailed traditional Persian design. The deep red ground is decorated with graceful scrolling motifs and finely worked ornamentation in ivory, pale blue, soft rose, taupe and muted green, while dark blue architectural cartouches around the perimeter provide a handsome contrast to the red field and give the carpet a particularly strong, balanced composition.

Intricate borders continue the design around the perimeter, while the silk surface lends a subtle luminosity that changes with the direction of the light. This smaller format makes the carpet an excellent decorative accent for an entry, bedside, study, dressing room, powder room or in front of a favorite piece of furniture.
