Antique Italian Hand-Carved Giltwood Mirror

Description

A beautiful Italian giltwood mirror featuring an elaborate hand-carved sculptural frame with sweeping scrolls, acanthus leaves and classical Rococo-inspired ornamentation. The asymmetrical carved details create movement throughout the frame, while the warm gilt finish gives the mirror a rich, luxurious appearance without overpowering a room.

An elaborate pierced crest crowns the mirror, continuing into beautifully carved foliage along the sides and base. Its generous 57-inch height makes it an impressive focal point while remaining versatile enough for an entry, powder room, bedroom, formal living room or above a console.

A handsome decorative mirror that brings the warmth and character of traditional Italian craftsmanship into both classic and transitional interiors.
