Marc Chagall, Circus Fan Dancer, Numbered Custom Framed Artwork

Description

A captivating circus composition featuring a fan holding performer surrounded by musicians, spectators and fantastical animals, brought together in Chagall’s unmistakably dreamlike world. Luminous turquoise, emerald green and rich “Chagall blues” flow through the scene, accented with violet, crimson and golden yellow. The central performer’s poised expression contrasts with the lively figures around her, creating a composition filled with theatrical charm and romantic atmosphere.

The feminine figure evokes the romantic imagery associated with Chagall’s beloved wife and muse, Bella, whose presence inspired many of his works. Here, that connection offers a way of appreciating the image rather than a confirmed identification of the sitter.

Presented in a custom silver toned frame with deep black matting and finely contrasting inner borders, this piece brings color, character and a sense of wonder to a living room, library or collected art wall.
